Long, long ago, (about five thousand years) there used to exist in the pugilistic world an unorthodox sect called the Mental Sect (or RiRi yueyue shenjingbing jiao), that persisted in massacring threads and irritating the sh*it out of people. As the years went by, there came into power the Fruit Sect (aka Shui Guo Jiao) which soon successfully took over the Mental Sect as a result of their fruity and nutty characteristics.

The leaders of the Fruit Sect, K and Apple, used to be sworn-fruits but broke up (consequently, K is called K and not a fruit) because they coveted and fought over a powerful martial arts manual that would make them invincible- the Wu Hua Guo Bao Dian (or Preserved Plum Scroll) - and also immortal because it preserved them into preserved fruits. But this manual had a deadly secret in it- in order to practice it, one had to remove one's.... *gosh* BRAIN! Consequently both K and apple removed their brains, and they have been brainless ever since.

And that is why till today, fruits do not have brains.
