By the way, there will be some "extras" here and there..

1. Ken- An American Born Chinese (ABC) and working as a Geologist. Shows interest in the study of the nature of rocks and use geological principles to describe some human principles

2. Philynn- A young bank accountant and in the later part of the story, she gets to know ken and that is where their love relationship develops

3. watcher- Japanese girl and she is on job attachment. Sent to America and works as a young geologist on probation.. That's where she gets to know ken..

4. Raynor- A male psychologist. Philynn's former boyfriend, but have separated for at least 2 years...

5. glitz- Raynor's younger sister. Both she and her brother lived from hand to mouth since young...Has a liking for NYJ...

6. Prisc- Once working as a secretary. But a broken marriage caused her to be mentally unstable...Ultimately, she has to visit Raynor for treatment and love starts to bosom from then on...

7. NYJ- Athlete at National Sports Council. Met with an accident at the age of 12.. Legs become disabled, but is never willing to give up aspirations..

8. AV- ken's mother..(Don't look down on this role.. It's quite significant)
