Episode 2

This voice wakes the sleeping animals up.

Ken: Now who was that?!

Christy: Weird… this voice seems to come from everywhere…, in no specific direction…

Both cats walked over to the dogs. "Did u hear that?"

NYJ and Gina: Yes. Where's it from? And this person was so wicked not to tell us that Janes was attacking…

Ken: Who was that idiot? Please show up!

The farm animals then noticed an earthworm crawling out from the soil.

Ona_: Baaaa!!! Earthworm!! Must be the earthworm! So wicked!

Networm: Hi everyone… I'm Networm the earthworm! No… it wasn't me who made that voice! I myself came up to check what the voice was!

Now this was puzzling the farm animals… and just at that moment…

Voices: HAHA! U won't be able to find me. Just warning you animals, you are not supposed to sleep all day!

At the rabbits…
Denyse's condition was worsening minute by minute. The other farm animals merely suffered minor bites.

Denyse: *cough cough*… *sniff sniff*…

YI: Are you alright Denyse?! You mustn't die! You will be alright! HELP!! SOMEONE HELP!!

Yi broke down and cried helplessly in the enclosure. Denyse dropped a tear from her beautiful but worn-out eye…
The dogs and cats rushed immediately to the rabbits to find out what happened. Denyse's ears were badly bitten and almost rotten. She was covered in a layer of ant bites. There was almost no sign of life in the motionless Denyse.

Ken immediately gave a loud howl to attract Trend's attention. A couple of minutes later, Trends appeared and saw Denyse's condition…

Trends: Oh gosh Denyse… what happened to you?! I think I better send you to the vet now.

Trends gets dressed and hops into the jeep with Denyse safely caged. She drove to the nearby town of Geraldine, New Zealand to get help from a famous vet, Lenlen…

Lenlen: Oh gosh! Poor thing! She must have been badly bitten by ants! I think I need to keep her here for a few days. I'll call you when I'm done. I'm sorry, but I can't guarantee her survival.

Trends: Try your best Lenlen. (watery eyes…)

Meanwhile at the farm…

YI: I wonder how's Denyse how… I'm beginning to miss her…

Ken: Come on.. she's only gone for a couple of hours so far… she should be alright.

Then, a voice sounded from the sky. It was Clouds.

Cloud: hi everyone, I see your owner Trends bringing the rabbit into a vet. Don't worry!

Everyone looked up.

Hobbes: So you were the voice just now, Cloud?

Cloud: Of course not. It wasn't me. (pause). Oh! From up here, I see Trends driving the jeep back, but in it, is another animal…

Hobbes (horse): What animal? Another rabbit?

YI: Nothing will replace my love for Denyse.

Cloud: No, it's not a rabbit. It looks weird… a bit like a pig.

Everyone: A PIG?!

Before long, Trends was back. YI stared hard at the jeep, hoping to see Denyse, but Cloud was right. A weird looking pig appeared instead. He had a badly twisted nose, broken tail and an ear lost. "Hey guys", Trends announced… "here's your new mate Logic"..


That night…
YI: I cannot go to sleep… where's Denyse? I miss her terribly!

NYJ (dog): Be optimistic… *sniff sniff*… hey… Gina I smell something weird.

Gina (dog): Yeah… me too. Something I've never smelt before… it smells evil…

Ken: Not another attack by Jane?!

NYJ: No… it smells different… It's too dark for us to see anything… everyone be careful… I sense danger.

Everyone stayed up to keep watch that night…


"COCKADOODADOO!! It's the 2nd day of 2000!" Rugrats announced…

Ona_: Shuddup. I want to sleep… we stayed up last night for nothing…

The farm animals woke up by Rugrat's noise to be greeted by a new intruder…



Will Lenlen be able to save Denyse?
Why did Trends come back with a weird looking pig Logic?
Who was the new intruder?
Most importantly, who's the mysterious voice???

The focus has been on the rabbits, dogs and cats… subsequent episodes will aim to add more colours to the other animals… STAY TUNED!
