Cruel Intentions

Episode One (Shakespearean version)

Lady Jeanette and Sir Christopher were merry making in a Tavern playing mild guessing games...

Sir Christopher: I believe it is a Gentleman.

Lady Jeanette: (shakes her head mildy) M'lord, it is to be a Dame, Fair skinned and pure...

A quiet Lady of honour walked in...

Sir C: (in disbelieve) Is it so possible to be as sharp as an arrow, as accurate as Robin's aim? I am not of belief...

Lady J: (Grinning )the instinct of a woman is not to be belittled... how lightly you think of the woman's mind...

Sir Christopher gave a roar of displeasure.

In this instance, Sir Darrell of Hampton stroded into the tavern.

Sir C: In disbelief i challenge you again to another round of guessing... To guess again... I do not think you are so lucky to have guessed like Robin's arrow find the target.... Come now, m'lady... Guess again. If I should put a wrong bid, I would personally call upon you and Give you the finest gold silk in the county...

Bar Maid: M'lord, does a nearby ear get the same benefits? If it is so, i believe i should give it a go too...A Dame, m'lady?

Sir C: then a young knight it is for me.... i do so believe that a lucky lady only has luck for the first round...

Lady J: (smiles mysteriously, looked into the deep corner of the tavern) I do believe that you are wrong again, m'lord. It is a Dame, full of virtue and of noble birth... many a courters are in pursue following behind.

A Countess walked in with her entourage of fine young suiters...

Everyone cheered as rounds of ale are passed round the table... except for Sir C...

Sir C: is it possible for the sun to raise from the east? Is Heaven in the sky? I cannot believe this has happened... what is in women that we man cannot understand... ON my honour, I would like to guess again.... Instead of the gender, m'lady, I propose we guess the number... Not as simple as a red rose.
